Home-grown Products For the Intrepid Adventurer

For the bold at heart, there are many adventures to be had in the South. However, it is important to be prepared for anything when on an adventure. This means it is important to do your research and make sure you have the right travel products and clothing to fit every possibility.

Everhart’s Saints of the South

“There wasn’t one note of singing while women hung out the wash, no chatting over fences, no children shouting in play, not one chant of the alphabet from the schoolroom; silent were the swishing of brooms in yards and absent were the fragrant smells from cook pots…the camp had quietly died, its lifeblood withdrawing, the same way blood withdraws to the center of the body when dying.”

GoSouth / North Carolina

Asheville North Carolina will take you from quaint to quintessence, nature to nightlife, hipster to high-end, and back again. It’s everything you’d think the famed Blue Ridge Mountains would offer, then full of surprises you’d never expect to find in this tucked-away treasure and rejuvenating retreat.

Adrenaline Junkies

While the South has a reputation for taking things slow and being a place to sit back and relax, there is also the side that appeals to the adventurous adrenaline hound. If you are ready to get ‘down and dirty’ then read on for a wide variety of adventures that your friends and family will talk about for months to come.

A Bite of Fresh Air in Outdoor Dining Spaces

We’re all looking for a reason to spend more time outside now that warmer temperatures and longer days are on their way. Whether you’re shaking off the winter blues or finally able to plan a safe get-together with friends and family, it’s better with good food and a great view. A tasty cocktail or frosty beer wouldn’t hurt, either!

GoSouth / Nashville

If you think you know Nashville, it’s time for a new look at the old favorite and bring your appetite while you’re at it. One of the most nicknamed metropolises in the country (emphasis on “country”), the Birthplace of Country Music and Music City, USA has a lengthy list of lesser-known monikers like the “Protestant Vatican” (makes sense – if you know, you know), and the “Hot Chicken Capital.” That last one caught South’s attention as we checked out Prince’s Hot Chicken. We took one for the team and it was worth it! Along with other hot-spots lighting up “The Powder City of the World.” (We swear we’re not making these up.)

Growing Woof Gang

Having just opened their sixth Savannah area store, the sky is the limit for the first family of pet stores decked out in pink.

GoSouth / Florida

Amelia Island has something for everyone – whether you are an adrenaline junkie or a food connoisseur, you will find something to fall in love with on the Island.
