➼ Sales & Marketing Executive
A successful candidate will be an experienced individual capable of marketing both print and online advertising to local and regional businesses for our award-winning publication. Build a rewarding career in the exciting industry of magazine publishing.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Selling to and maintaining a base of local/regional accounts
- Account development and revenue growth
- Development of monthly, quarterly and annual projections for assigned territory
- Presence at related industry events
Desired Skills & Experience Qualifications and requirements include:
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, self-starting approach
- Excellent communication, organization and computer skills
- Must have 3+ years of outside sales experience
- Ability to develop weekly selling plans and conduct sales calls accordingly
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to conduct product demos
- Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers, as well as personnel
- Must have reliable transportation
- Prior sales or marketing experience required.
- A Sales Executive for the South should be organized, self-starting and possess excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- A bachelors degree is preferred.
- Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.

➼ Scenes Photographers
As a scenes photographer you will be granted free access to some of the most exclusive events in town! Make connections within community, meet the local movers and shakers, and have your photography featured on our website and in South magazine. If you would like to shoot some of Scenes of the South, email us at design@southmag.com, along with examples and/or links to your work.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Photographing people
- Occasional set up and break down of step & repeat
- Arriving to appointments on time
- Uploading event photos online
Qualifications and requirements include:
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, self-starting approach
- Excellent communication, organization and computer skills
- Must have your own camera
- Available daytime or evening
- Able to lift equipment
- Knowledge of web and WordPress
- Must have reliable transportation and contact (phone, email, etc.)
