Treatment That Changes The World

Dr. Kusuma strives to make the world a kinder place
Dr. Yulianty Kusuma has big dreams, and an even bigger heart. At Internal Medicine of Savannah, she aims to provide her patients with the absolute best care imaginable, as she believes the medical field has the ability to help people in a way that makes their world better.
It’s her passion for helping others that led her to her calling of medicine, and after 14 years of experience, she continues to strive to create her “perfect world,” where people interact with kindness and respect.
Dr. Kusuma prides herself on taking time with her patients and not rushing them. She also believes that it is her staff that makes Internal Medicine of Savannah truly unique.
“They have gone above and beyond to make sure we deliver the best care possible to our patients and move us closer to a perfect world,” Kusuma says.
But medicine isn’t her only contribution to make the world a better place. Dr. Kusuma has a special interest in the humanities. She donates her time and efforts to the United Way and local private schools to help children who cannot afford to go to school. In addition to having a family of her own, Dr. Kusuma is also the host mom of two international students from China who are currently attending high school in Savannah.
As a doctor who is described as a “good listener,” “compassionate” and “very thorough,” she also encourages her patients to maintain a work-life balance, healthy diet and an exercise routine.
“Although, I cannot solve the world’s problems on my own, I can contribute 100 percent of myself each day. If everyone else does the same, together we could make a perfect world,” Dr. Kusuma says.
