Jalapeños

South’s spot for fresh, authentic Mexican food in an atmosphere as festive as a fiesta for more than 20 years.

There’s a reason why Jalapeños Mexican Grill has been a Savannah institution for over 20 years — and it’s not just the mouth-watering guacamole keepin ‘em on top of the competition.

Not many places can stake their claim in a city like Jalapeños has in Savannah. With eight bustling locations in the area, Jalapeños is more like a Tex-Mex empire. That’s eight times the fiesta power!

Family-owned since 1997, Jalapeños has been serving fresh, authentic Mexican food locals love for more than 20 years. Managed by brothers Fernando and Arnold Castellanos, they expanded from one restaurant into a franchise with locations in downtown Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, Rincon, Southside, Sandfly and the Islands. In each of their locations, they have come to serve as a neighborhood home — local hotspot, if you will — for fun-filled family celebrations featuring authentic Mexican flavors.

The food is the real deal and stays true to its roots, even when it gets a bit experimental. Any dish can be customized to the wildest imagination, from burritos to enchiladas, and from tacos to nachos. Want more queso? Who doesn’t? Go wild.

The real magic of Jalapeños is in their world-famous margaritas. The talk of the town is the Patron marg — it packs a punch if you catch our drift. However, there are 16 other types of margarita alone to choose from, solidifying Jalapeños as Savannah’s biggest fiesta.
