Downtown Savannah welcomes Hilton Head Island icon Java Burrito, celebrating the perfect marriage of Latin leaning foods, rich well-rounded coffees, and surprising expansions to both menu and space.

Fresh foods and beverages made from traditional methods, in house, from scratch, every day — the way owners and proprietors Frederika and Michael Feketé have done it since day one. “We know coffee is so individual,” says Frederika Feketé, of just one of the foodie passions at the core of this iconic eatery and place to be. “Whether it’s an espresso milkshake, something very Italian like a straight shot of espresso, or a bachelorette group who wants honey lavender lattes with oat milk.”

Java’s just the jump. Their motto covers the rest: “Whether we’re your go-to coffee spot, farm to fork favorite, reliable caterer, happy hour home, or the place you get your burrito just like you like it, we’re forever grateful you love what we love to make.”

Savannah-izing the brand, Feketé says “we’re quite different from the HHI location. The food is the same, but expanding the physical space means a cocktail and bubbles menus, pastry case, beer and wine on tap, and a chic catering and private event space in the basement level. This building gave us the opportunity to do everything we envisioned. We’re so excited to be in this awesome culinary community.”
