Sly's Sliders and Fries: Stacking Big Flavors on Small Buns since 2014

The humble slider eliminates the paradox of choice for many an indecisive eater. Can’t decide between the classic Boardwalk burger slider, vegetarian Shroomwich slider or Perro Cubano slider dog? Order all three, they’re sliders. That’s the idea behind Sly’s Sliders and Fries.

They’ve been stacking big flavors on small buns since 2014. Laura and Scott Wester purchased the eatery from Matt Baldwin and Dave Hamer. While Laura became an official Peach in 2012, Scott hails from a long line of Savannahians. When the Westers were looking to purchase Sly’s, Scott’s father thought the address sounded familiar. It turns out Scott’s great grandmother had worked in the location as the supervisor at the dry cleaning and alterations shop long before it became a slider shop. That history made the deal even sweeter (or savorier, if you will). The Westers are having fun, working hard, and plan to keep the essence of Sly’s intact. Laura Wester explained, “It’s always going to be about the simple idea of the slider. That’s what people love about it. It’s comfort food. Bring your kids and have a good time.” slysslidersandfries.com / 912.239.4219
