Run for a Child's New Hope

Join for a day of family fun and exercise with the Trail of Hope 5K and children's Tot Trot, November 12, 2016 at Skidaway Island State Park

Dentistry for Children is hosting its 7th Annual Trail of Hope 5K, benefiting Covenant Care Adoptions, Saturday November 12, 2016. 

The run will be held at Skidaway Island State Park, where participants can run in the 5K, 1 Mile, or Tot Trot. The Teddy Bear Tot Trot is approximately ¼ mile, where kids are encouraged to run with their favorite stuffed animal, and can be entered to win a prize if they run in their pajamas. 

The race begins with the Tot Trot at 9 a. m. and is free to all kids. Followed by the Tot Trot, is the 5K, beginning at 9:15 a. m. And the 1 mile trail/run walk will begin at 9:20 a. m.

It’s not too late register for this family-friendly event. The 5K trail run is a $25 registration fee for early registration and $35 for late registration. The 1- mile run is a $15 fee, for both early and late registration.  The early packet pickup is on November 11 from 10 a. m. until 6 p. m. at Kirk O’ the Isles Presbyterian Church located at 6500 Habersham Street, Savannah, GA.

Even if you are not a runner, you are still invited to be a part of this great cause. You can walk or give through donations.  Over the course of 27 years, Covenant Care has served over 6,000 pregnant women and created over 550 families through the adoption process.
