Iesha Garvin

Who am I? I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, student, writer, employee, friend, and just about every other adjective in between. Most importantly, I am a southern girl through and through, born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised in her sister city: Savannah, Georgia. I, along with my husband and six-going-on-sixty year old son, presently live in Savannah where I work as an office clerk and also attend Armstrong State University in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Communications. Also an aspiring author, in my free time I dilly-dally in poetry, short fiction, songs, and any other medium that happens to inspire me. Aside from writing, my interests are food, music, and just plain fun. While many “outsiders” may not see the appeal of being a Southerner, I can honestly say I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Where else in the world can you go and be greeted by friendly people, eat the best barbecue, listen to real, organic music and drink a tall glass of the coldest, sweetest tea there is?
