Meet sisters, Suzy and Patty Homer. They scoured the east coast for a property to turn into a bed and breakfast.
On trips from Florida to their summer home in Maine, they would stop off in little towns and villages along the way, looking for the perfect spot. After two years, and some 40 cities later, they finally found what would become The Inn on West Liberty. They own and live on the property, and that sense of care as on-site innkeepers shows. Their Trip Advisor reviews skyrocketed in seven short months, from nonexistent to fifth place ranking among places to stay in Savannah. “It’s important that our guests feel welcomed, relaxed and at home during their stay with us,” Suzy said. Both Suzy and Patty come from corporate backgrounds and found retired life unfulfilling. “We were looking for something more stimulating.” Their professional experience of community banking and human resources has been a great asset to running the inn. “Suzy loves to cook, and service is our top priority,” Patty explained. It was a natural fit for the sisters to move to Savannah, “The Hostess City of the South,” and launch The Inn on West Liberty. innonwestliberty.com / 912. 238.0806
