“I am proud to represent Savannah Technical College and the thousands of students, faculty, staff members, and employers who benefit from having one of Georgia’s finest technical colleges in our region. We are looking toward the future from the downtown home of the College’s Savannah Culinary Institute on 7 West Bay Street where our chef instructors and senior Culinary/Baking and Pastry Arts students will operate a public restaurant and bakery as a part of their training. What sets technical education apart is its focus on offering real-world experiences that enrich learning and prepare students for work. This facility will allow employers to see our students in action and gain first-hand knowledge of our commitment to excellence in instruction and service.
