Your Guide to A Night Out at Jalapenos on Whitemarsh

Just when you though Whitemarsh Island couldn't get any better, Jalapenos Mexican Grill goes and revamps their location on Charlotte Rd.

Jalapenos Mexican Grill has been the Savannah area’s favorite place for authentic Mexican food for 20 years. They offer an extensive menu of traditional and fusion Mexican food with endless choices and their bar is fully stocked and staffed with creative bartenders who love to mix up something that’s as unique and fun as you are. With 7 locations across the Savannah area, Jalapenos Mexican Grill is Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, and the Islands’ neighborhood stop for an authentic taco and Patron margarita.

Recently remodeled, their Whitemarsh location blends a new look with the same great people and great tasting food. Here's our guide to experiencing the new and improved Jalapenos on Whitemarsh:

Shown here are some of their best dishes and cocktails in winning combinations. Straight out of the gate, the chef whips up some Shrimp Ceviche blended to perfection with fresh jalapenos and paired with a Frozen Strawberry Margarita. What a light and fresh way to start a meal – and boy was it delicious!

Next on our foodie agenda was to try their Margarita Chicken that is actual marinated in a margarita topped with a spicy aoli sauce and beans on the side and paired with a Jalapeno Margarita that is a one-two punch to your taste buds! I have been here so many times and have never had the chance to try this dish – now claim it as my favorite and have been telling everyone about since.

For dessert, we stuck true to the trend of today's guide and tried this cocktail called the Rattlesnake Mule! This masterpiece is their version of the classic Moscow Mule, but with Rattlesnake tequila instead. I love the changes and approve. So next time you're on the island or on your way to the beach stop in and say hello to Frank and check out the new look and enjoy the great Mexican dishes that you have come to love!
