2022 Heroes Weekend Festivities
The Nine Line Foundation has its annual Heroes Weekend this year Oct 27 – Oct 29 and we have made another spectacular weekend out of the event.
As you may know: Nine Line Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, dedicated to meeting the financial and specialized needs of severely injured soldiers and their families. In combat, Nine Line is an emergency medevac request, and is often the difference between life and death for the most severely wounded soldiers. Since 2013 the Nine Line Foundation’s mission has been to serve in a similar manner, offering a lifeline once wounded veterans return stateside. Our goal is to rebuild, strengthen and enrich the quality of life of wounded veterans.The Nine Line Foundation Honoring Our Heroes Dinner kicks off on Thursday Oct 27th (Savannah Station w/ Premium Open Bar), followed by Golf at Savannah Harbor Golf Course on Friday Oct 28th w/ social, raffle and prizes following the event. Saturday Oct 29th we will run our 5K/10K/10Miler “Run for the Wounded” on Berwick Plantation, followed by an afternoon at 17S Range for our VIPs and Sponsors.
We are looking for various levels of corporate sponsors and thought this may be something that your company would be interested in supporting since you guys have been a long time customer of Nine Line Apparel. If you do not wish to sponsor monetarily at one of these levels, we are also looking for silent auction items, giveaways and supplies for the Heroes Dinner, Golf Tournament and VIP Range Day. | Join Nine Line Foundation and Nine Line Apparel on Oct 29th, 2022, for our 9th Annual 5K/10K Run for the Wounded, Now with the first ever “10 Miler”! Proceeds from the race will go directly towards our newest initiative: building a transitional community, a Veterans Village, for homeless veterans in Brunswick, Georgia.
The Course: NEW COURSE – Running Beautiful Berwick Plantation – 275 Berwick Blvd Start Line
Start Time: 7:30AM
With a 5K / 10k and 10 mile option; this run is great for any participant. Participants will receive a Nine Line Apparel T-shirt, and a finisher race medal.
Free Parking near the race start line at Coastal Cathedral Church.
