Wendy A. Owens has been practicing law for nearly 20 years, The primary focus of her practice is residential and commercial real estate matters. She represents both buyers and sellers assisting them with understanding contingencies and requirements of purchases to make the buying process seamless and efficient.

Owens, a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, is licensed to practice law in Georgia, North Carolina, and West Virginia. She is a certified mediator in the State of Georgia and has attained an AV Rating through Martindale-Hubbell.

“I am mostly known for title clearance in complex real estate matters. I have traveled nationally to mortgage companies, title companies, and other law firms to educate their staff on title clearance.” Owens said. “Title defects can hold up closings and leave properties unmarketable in lender portfolios, if not handled correctly.”

Owens also handles business formations, creditors rights in bankruptcies, landlord/tenant law, contested foreclosures, contested evictions and simple estate planning.
