Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
The Rape Crisis Center hosted the 5th Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Event at Forsyth Park to galvanize the support of men and boys in our community. Dozens of participants showed up in support and walked around Forsyth Park in high-heel shoes to symbolize the steps victims take toward healing. The purpose of the event was to establish a unified front against sexual violence.
