Tommy Hester
Tommy Hester, longtime Savannah business leader and President of Colony Bank passed away on Tuesday afternoon. Hester served his community well and his leadership at First Liberty bank, BB&T, The Coastal Bank, and Bank South, was commendable. He served on many boards, including the Savannah Chamber, Georgia Southern University and SEDA. He will be sorely missed by all of us here at South magazine, and by all who knew him. Hester was only 67 years old.
