The Whitman Yacht Launch
The Whitman Yacht made its official debut as Savannah’s New Private Charter Yacht service from the Waterfront of The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa on March 31st, 2015. An Enthusiastic group of Savannah Neighbors & Friends had the opportunity to be the first to take a tour of the custom 47’ ketch-rigged sailing vessel, which will be offering personalized sailing experiences ranging from relaxed sunset cocktail cruises to a full day of hands on sailing and tuition under the expert guidance of Captain Bennett Bacon. Owner, Steve Buckner and Westin GM, Mark Spadoni also announced a new collaboration between the two organizations and The Bloody Point Golf Club & Resort on Daufuskie Island.
