Roundnet Tournament, Lighthouse Invitational, Beach Sweep, Hilton Head Shrimp Festival & More!

ROUNDNET TOURNAMENT Wednesday, September 14, 3-8pm Grab a friend and head to the Sea Pines Beach Club for our second annual Roundnet Tournament sponsored by Truly. What is Roundnet? It can be described as a cross between 4-square and volleyball, played with a net on the ground. Tickets are available for $20 for a team of two. Each registered participant will receive their first Truly for free. All participants must be 21 and older to receive a Truly. Cash Bar will be set up outside of the Surfside Market at The Sea Pines Beach Club. Winning teams will receive prizes at the end of the tournament. 

Proceeds for each registered team will go to benefit Turtle Trackers. Turtle Trackers of Hilton Head Island meet from May – October during the nesting seasons to help promote and protect the Loggerhead Sea Turtle species in our area. 


LIGHTHOUSE INVITATIONAL Thursday, September 15 – Sunday, September 18 This four-day golf tournament offers the ultimate golfing experience with play on all three of The Sea Pines Resort’s championship courses. For additional information, please visit seapines.com/ lighthouseinvitational. 


BEACH SWEEP 

Friday, September 16, 9am Take part in the largest one-day volunteer cleanup event of its kind in South Carolina; coordinated by the Ocean Conservancy in conjunction with the International Coastal Cleanup. For additional information, visit seapines.com/events. Volunteers welcome 


STAN SMITH SUPER SERIES WEEKEND 

Friday, September 16, 2–5pm Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, 9am–12pm 

Join Stan Smith, former U.S. Open and Wimbledon Champion and U.S. Olympic 

men’s tennis coach, for a fun-filled weekend. The nine-hour class will feature video analysis of your serve, stroke and strategy instruction, footwork, and many practice drills. September 17-19

HILTON HEAD ISLAND SHRIMP FESTIVAL 

Saturday, September 24, 1-4pm The Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival is a family-friendly event featuring: savory shrimp dishes prepared by 18 Hilton Head-area chefs (while supplies last); craft beers from more than 14 breweries (while supplies last); an array of goods offered by specialty vendors; live music performances by local rock band Groove Town Assault; and an activity-filled “Kid Zone” with a bounce house, face painting, arts & crafts and more, provided by event sponsor The Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head, Technical College of the Lowcountry, Coca-Cola, Southern Crown Partners, E&J Gallo and US Foods. 

Each ticket includes shrimp samplings for all chefs and sample tastings from all breweries while supplies last. Non-alcoholic beverages and additional alcoholic beverages, including wine, will be available for purchase. For those with shellfish allergies we will have access set up to Harbourside for guests to order food for purchase.
