Rising from humble beginnings in Morelia, Michoacán, Tequila’s Town is the culmination of over 50 years combined experience in the culinary industry. Now, owners Temo and Sergio Ortiz and Sergio Calderon are celebrating six years in business with a recent opening in Jacksonville, Florida. This Savannah-made gem continues its commitment to deliver authentic Mexican food and traditional recipes, such as their street-style tacos and fresh tableside guacamole. In addition to their renowned cuisine, Tequila’s Town is the largest tequila bar in the region, serving upscale and artisan agave spirit labels. Beto Jimenez, head mixologist and bar manager, is among the faces of the South leading the way in tequila service.
