Once you’re here, take in the natural beauty all around you. The quickest way? Cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway, also known as America’s Favorite Motor Route. Located near Sylva, the Parkway is the easiest way to see stunning mountain views from the comfort of your car. If you’re looking to hike, make a stop at some of our favorite overlooks: Waterrock Knob, Devil’s Courthouse, or Richland Balsam. Catch a lovely sunset and cool off; temperatures at some of these spots can be 10 degrees cooler!

Got some music lovers in the group? Grab a chair and a stocked picnic basket and head to Sylva’s Concerts on the Creek any Friday night Memorial Day through Labor Day. Or dance the night away at Groovin’ on the Green Summer Concert Series in Cashiers.
If shopping and spas are in your ideal day, Dillsboro and Sylva have great antique shops and boutiques. Visit Cashiers for upscale spas, home furnishings, décor, and clothing.
And after all that exploring, you’re bound to have worked up an appetite! Make sure to savor an al fresco meal at one of our delicious local restaurants that offer the freshest farm-to-table cuisine.
