Stone & Webster Chophouse at PRD to Host Raymond Vineyards Wine Dinner on May 16

Plant Riverside District will host a special Raymond Vineyards Wine Dinner featuring a four-course dining experience with passed appetizers and premium wine pairings at Stone & Webster Chophouse on Tuesday, May 16.

Plant Riverside District will host a special Raymond Vineyards Wine Dinner at Stone & Webster Chophouse, a modern restaurant offering a fresh take on the classic American chophouse experience.

Attendees will enjoy passed appetizers as well as an intimate four-course dining experience featuring perfectly paired premium selections from Raymond Vineyards, an award-winning winemaker in Napa Valley, California. Raymond Vineyards Vice President Stephanie Putnam and Boisset Collection Regional Sales Director Sara Brewer will be on hand to offer insight into the winemaking process as well as the featured wines.

The Raymond Vineyards Wine Dinner menu was thoughtfully prepared by The Kessler Collection’s Corporate Director of Culinary Kyle Lipetzky and Plant Riverside District’s Executive Sous Chef Jacob Hammer and will showcase delicacies including Aged Prime Ribeye, Venison, White Asparagus Chawanmushi with King Crab and Strawberry Pavlova. Attendees will also enjoy Oysters Mignonette, Aged Beef Tartare, Tempura Rock Shrimp and Fois Gras Tartlets as passed appetizers.

The Raymond family arrived in Napa Valley in 1933, where Roy Raymond worked as a winemaker; his two sons later set out to buy their own vineyard and never looked back. Like all great American family stories, the Raymonds put hard work and a pioneering spirit into their winery.

Today, Raymond Vineyards has more than 170 acres of estate vineyards in Napa Valley. Each parcel is matched to varietals which perform well in that particular climate and soil type. In addition, the winery maintains long-term growing contracts with more than 15 Napa Valley growers, allowing the winery to take advantage of the unique micro-climates and sub-appellations within the Napa Valley.
