Plant Riverside District is hosting a repertoire of “Shamrocks and Shenanigans” from March 12-17 to celebrate Savannah’s favorite holiday. Plant Riverside has saved the best acts for the week-of, so come celebrate!

This week, from Monday, March 15 through midnight on March 17, visitors to Savannahians have a complete itinerary of all-things St, Patrick’s Day. Guests can take a leisurely stroll down to the pavilions on Monday at 6 p.m. for a live performance by CC Wit playing the Irish solo guitar. From 1 – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, two more Irish solo guitar performances will include Hunter Price and Chuck Courtenay, followed by Eric and the Holograms. And like the weekend before, the festivities will conclude each night with a presentation at the amphitheater fountain with music from Riverdance and Savannah Children’s Choir.

The main event is Wednesday, March 17, kicking off with another performance from CC Witt to ease into the day. Visitors can start the party right away and head up to Electric Moon Skytop Lounge anytime from 11 a.m. to midnight, age (21+) and occupancy restrictions permitting. Performances throughout the day include: Irish Pipes and Drums Band, Irish School of Dance, Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, Eric Britt, The Band Draucher, and the conclusion presentation. The Savannah Shamrock Ships Flotilla will be floating by between 1 – 3 p.m., and the river walk makes the perfect vantage point to watch the socially-distanced parade. Whatever your comfort level, whatever your scene, there is something for everyone to join in the festivities of Savannah’s favorite holiday: St. Patrick’s Day.
