The mission of Georgia’s Coastal Heritage Society (CHS) is to provide educational experiences for the public through the preservation and presentation of the historic resources of coastal Georgia and its adjacent regions. A 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 1975, CHS operates six historic museums for adults, kids, and families to explore as well as special events to immerse guests in the South’s unique culture!
Stop by Savannah History Museum to see the important role Savannah played in the American Revolution in a fun and immersive way, or to learn about the conservation of the 17 Revolutionary War-era cannons found in the Savannah River, delve into Pin Point’s rich and important history at Pin Point Heritage Museum, highlighted in Samantha Brown’s Savannah episode of “Places to Love,” or join in the fun at Savannah Children’s Museum for Homeschool Afternoons, Little Learners, and so much more!
