After several years of being held in Hilton Head, the 25th Annual Southern Coast Heart Ball returned to downtown Savannah. Chaired by Ricky Molina, the event included dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions.
“This event is attended by some of our area’s largest healthcare systems, as well as local corporate, philanthropic, and social leaders from Savannah, Hilton Head, Bluffton, Beaufort, and surrounding areas,” said Royceann Friedman, development director, Southern Coast, American Heart Association. The resources raised will fund educational programs, lifesaving research, and assist in raising awareness of the impact of cardiovascular disease and stroke.”
“Through the Southern Coast Heart Ball campaign, we celebrate our collective success in driving change, funding science and improving health – no matter where, or how, we gather,” added Friedman. That means taking their efforts beyond the ballroom, working every day to help every heart. In more than 150 communities across the country, Heart Ball supporters unite with a shared purpose to raise the critical funds needed to ensure the American Heart Association’s work continues. Throughout their campaigns the team celebrate their milestones, thank sponsors and honor their heroes.
