This Saturday, November 28 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Wright Square Café in downtown Savannah, Georgia, will be hosting a “grower-producer” product tasting featuring local farm WoodPecker Trail Olive Farm for some delicious oils and festivities.
Just in time for Small Business Saturday, local favorite Wright Square Café will be hosting Tracy and Curtis Poling of WoodPecker Trail Olive Farm, located in Glennville, GA. The Glennville land has been in Tracy Smith Poling’s family since 1855. In 2014, Curtis and Tracy cleared 14 acres, and in the following year, planted 4000 Arbequina olive trees. They have since added 2000 trees from five different countries with eight different varieties. They will be featuring their NYIOOC oil at the tasting, which won silver for the World’s Best Olive Oil.

The 300-acre WoodPecker Trail Olive Farm is rooted in six generations of family heritage, mostly in Longleaf Pine forestation. The 6,000 olive tree orchard is accompanied by Longleaf Pines and lavender field—and all products are naturally non-GMO and organic.
