Seafood Fest Returns to River Street

The 2018 River Street Seafood Fest will take place June 1-3 in Morrell Park and Rousakis Plaza along the beautiful waterfront.

Spread the word, Shelly Shrimp is coming to River Street June 1st through the 3rd! Grab the entire family and get ready for a weekend of great live music and the area’s freshest seafood from the restaurants that locals love! 

Wet your whistle with Sweetwater’s limited edition Twisted Fish Crystal Pilsner in their beer garden along the shores of the Savannah River in Morrell Park. Enjoy Live music from the Sweetwater Stage all weekend long while dining on shrimp, oysters on the half shell and other seafood delicacies. Musical guests include Young Americans, Supersoaker, Mystic Vibrations, Randy Knight and Parrot Party Souls Harbor and more!

SWA and its partners are giving away a fabulous prize package in Morrell Park. Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win! Items may include: Engle marine cooler, Costa sunglasses, hotel stay, gift certificates and more! $1 of every raffle ticket will be donated to the Coastal Conservation Association of Georgia. 

Have kids? They can enjoy the popular art classes presented by the Art Center of Wilmington Island. Come by and create your own masterpiece, with $1 of the activity cost being donated to CCA of Georgia.

Weekend festivities kick off on Friday, June 1st from 4-11pm with First Friday Fireworks presented by Wet Willie’s at 9:30pm. Festival hours continue Saturday, June 2 from 10am- 11pm and Sunday 10am-9pm. Seafood Fest will highlight coastal inspired art from regional artisans that will be displayed along Rousakis Plaza.
