Savannah Clovers FC to host a diaper drive for their home match against Chattanooga FC
The Savannah Clovers And Cumulus Radio Will Be Accepting Baby Product Donations For Families In Need
Savannah Clovers Football Club and Cumulus Radio today announced a plan to host a special Diaper Drive for the Clover’s next upcoming home match against Chattanooga FC on Saturday, September 16th.
Due to a nationwide shortage of baby care products, the Savannah Clovers and popular radio stations KIX 96, I-95, E93, and Magic 103.9 of Savannah will accept donations on behalf of “Shelter From The Rain – Community Outreach For Single Mothers and Over The Moon Diaper Bank.”
Fans and community members who wish to donate are encouraged to bring the following items: Baby Wipes, Baby Wash, Baby Lotion, Diapers (Preemie and Newborn to Size 6), Pull-Ups (Girls & Boys – 2t-3t, 4t-5t, 5t-6t), Training Pants (all sizes: 2/3T, 3/4T, 4/5T), and also diapers for adults in all sizes.
“Cumulus Radio is proud to work with the Clovers to help mothers and families in need during these difficult times,” said Promotions Director Jessica Samson. “The shortage of diapers, formula, and other baby care products is making it increasingly difficult for these members of our community to take care of their children and we are delighted to help in any way that we can.”
“As stewards of our community, we are always looking for ways that we can use our club and our brand to help elevate the projects of other non-profit organizations in Savannah,” said Chief Community Officer Brian Sykes. “We are proud to work with Cumulus in assisting these non-profits in order to get these baby care products to the most vulnerable in our community.”
Fans who wish to attend the league match against Chattanooga FC at Memorial Stadium on September 16th can do so at www.savannahclovers.com/
