For Dr. Luke Curtsinger, a career spent performing well over 20,000 operations on both children and adults has been just part of a lifetime spent advancing the state of plastic surgery and examining ways to extend and enhance people’s lives. He has given more than 100 presentations to local, regional and national audiences, earned numerous grants to study the growth of skin and wound healing, and authored over 15 scientific papers focused on the healing of skin as well as breast, chest and abdominal wall reconstruction. In addition, he has studied in-depth the relationship between nutrition and longevity, lecturing frequently on the subject, “How to Live to be 100,” and “Let’s Make Savannah a Blue Zone City.”
