PRD to Host High-Energy Cinco de Mayo Dance Party Featuring LPT Salsa Band and DJ JB Dizzy on May 5

District Live at Plant Riverside District will host a special Cinco de Mayo Dance Party featuring live music by LPT, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based 10-piece Afro-Cuban salsa orchestra, at District Live. Plant Riverside District will host a special Cinco de Mayo Dance Party at District Live featuring live music by LPT, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based 10-piece Afro-Cuban salsa orchestra as well as drink specials to celebrate the holiday, including Tequila Sunrise Margaritas and Bandera de Mexico Mojitos. Widely considered the ambassadors of Salsa and Afro-Cuban music in the Southeast, LPT uses music to bridge gaps between cultures and will deliver a high-energy performance. DJ JB Dizzy from the Tropical de Noche Crew will close out the night with music that’s perfect for dancing. The party will continue until midnight.

In addition, Savannah Tequila Co. at Plant Riverside District will offer a variety of Cinco de Mayo food and drink specials, from Chicken Pozoles to Cecina Tacos with refried beans, guacamole and queso fresco. To round out the Cinco de Mayo festivities at Plant Riverside District, guests can also enjoy a Flamenco Trio from Miami, Fla., performing live on the Montgomery Park Stage from 6 to 9 p.m.
