Book-lovers rejoice! First launched in 2017, the Charleston Literary Festival returns for a fifth year, running from Nov. 4 to Nov. 13. The boutique festival will consist of a variety of thought-provoking panel discussions around topics like ‘skulduggery and intrigue,’ human gender dynamics and acts of resilience. This year’s lineup of writers and authors includes Booker Prize long-lister Hernan Diaz, investigative journalist Patrick Radden Keefe and 2021 National Nonfiction Book Award Winner Tiya Miles. Thanks to such panels, the festival hopes to provide a “much-needed opportunity for connection, dialogue, and joyful celebration in an increasingly complex world.”
