Nine Link 5k & 10K: Race for the Wounded

We had a great time supporting such a great cause at the Nine Line 5k and 10k Race for the Wounded this past Saturday. The run was co-hosted by Nine Line Apparel and Service Brewing Co., two local, veteran-owned and operated companies in Savannah, GA.

All proceeds generated at the event benefited the Nine Line Foundation, a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization that raises awareness of the challenges our severely injured soldiers face upon returning home, as well as increasing the quality of life for our wounded heroes. The Nine Line Foundation is unique because they sponsor one candidate at a time to ensure that all his/her specific needs are met.

The foundation is currently sponsoring their third candidate, Chaz Allen, who sustained multiple injuries, including the loss of both his legs from an IED while deployed in Afghanistan in 2011. articipate in the 5k/10k race. This will be a family friendly event so even if you are unable to run in the race, we encourage you to come meet the candidates and take part in the festivities.
