Komen Survivor Dinner
Ellis Square was dressed in pink on April 15th to celebrate the lives of Breast Cancer Survivors at the Komen Survivor Dinner kick off reception for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure weekend in Savannah. Sponsors from Memorial Health, Coastal Empire Plastic Surgery and Fleet Feet Sports offered inspirational comments to the crowd of more than one hundred guests before each survivor was escorted to the podium to announce the number of years they've beaten Cancer by Marines of the Savannah Landing Support Company, stationed on Hunter Army Airfield.
