June Andaz Salon featuring Tiffani Taylor
Andaz Savannah's monthly salons are events that deliver cultural experiences for guests and neighbors, encouraging creative inspiration through evocative content and spirited discussions with local influencers. Each Salon event is designed to imaginatively impassion guests through a new experience, and to connect them with like-minded individuals, ultimately sparking creativity. The events reflect the passion and vibe of the local community while connecting travelers with kindred spirits and artistic minds. June's salon featured local artist Tiffani Taylor, an American painter who resides in Savannah, Georgia and Paris, France. She is best known for her rich, textured paintings and original pottery.
Her paintings and pottery are inspired by nature and travel, particularly to France and Italy. On her canvases, layers of antique sheet music, handwritten recipe cards, or ancient maps harmonize with lines of poetry, vibrant oil paints, or a spray of soil. Lush and vibrant, Tiffani’s art is a tribute to things the eye cannot see: the journey of life; inner beauty; feelings of gratitude, reverence, and appreciation. Tiffani holds advanced degrees in Painting and Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). In 2011, she opened her eponymous gallery in historic downtown Savannah.
Tiffani’s work is shown in galleries internationally, including the Salvador Dali Museum. Additionally, it is included in the collections of Vogue’s André Leon Talley, designer Diane von Furstenberg, Pierre Cardin and Oprah Winfrey.
