Immortalize Your Furry Baby
Beginning in high school, Savannah local Jenna Scott has quietly harbored a true love for painting among herself, her close friends and family. For Scott, painting is an outlet from reality – sharing her work is personal, making her vulnerable. A true animal-lover, Scott has a crew of fur babies including four cats amusingly named Crash Bandicoot, Mittens Breaker of Worlds, Sketchy Von Sketchington, and Bottles of that Rosé, a rabbit called Prince Humperdink, a sulcata tortoise and a hedgehog – the later two named Bowser Bartholomew Bigglesworth and Scrambes the Death-dealer, respectively.
She has recently married two of her passions – painting and animals – by creating personalized portraits of pets. To Scott, “A blank canvas holds no expectation or judgment, which I find liberating.” Her creations are whimsical and thoughtful, and capture the essence of each four-legged subject. Visit her on Instagram @jennazan1 to commission a painting of your pet for any occasion.
