He-roin Going to Learn Today
SAVANNAH, Georgia (April 5, 2018): One person is in custody following an operation conducted by the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team (CNT).
Late yesterday, CNT arrested 23-year-old Quran “Donnie” Hilliard of Savannah. Hilliard was arrested outside his residence located in the 00 block of Fiddler’s Court. CNT conducted a search warrant at the residence resulting in the seizure of an undisclosed amount of heroin and marijuana and items commonly associated with the distribution of controlled substances. More than $63,000 in U.S. currency and one vehicle were also seized. Hilliard is charged with various felony drug-related charges to include Sale of a Controlled Substance (Heroin) and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. Hilliard is currently being held at the Chatham County Detention Center.
CNT’s investigation into Hilliard began in February 2018. Undercover CNT agents identified Hilliard as a person selling heroin. As the investigation furthered, CNT agents made at least one purchase of heroin from Hilliard. CNT also observed Hilliard selling heroin in the presence of his two juvenile children.
