Freedom Boat Club
Housed in historic Thunderbolt’s beautiful Morningstar – Bahia Bleu Marina, Freedom Boat Club opened up their Savannah location in March of 2005.
Since then, the club has enjoyed wonderful success, allowing Savannahians to foster a passion for the boating lifestyle, all while providing a hassle-free alternative to boat ownership.
Having access to the scenic Lowcountry waters of Georgia and South Carolina is just one of the perks members of Freedom Boat Club of Savannah get to enjoy. With a fleet of 28 boats including bow riders, deck boats, center consolers, and party barges, there is a boat for every adventure and occasion. The fleet rotates out roughly every two years, so a new or like-new boat is guaranteed.
As a member, you are guaranteed four standing reservations on the books at all times. After you embark on your adventure, just simply make a new one, or call on any given day and still have a 90 percent chance of getting a boat sans reservation.
Does your dog enjoy being on the water as much as you do? That’s good news, as dogs are welcome and encouraged to join you on your outings.
If Georgia’s not always on your mind, that’s okay too. You can use the other 150 U.S. and European Freedom Boat Club locations at no cost. Freedom Boat Club of Savannah is growing. Be sure to check out their new location in Richmond Hill at Ft. McAllister Marina.
