As a young girl growing up in Haiti, Sandy Duverger Odom was in awe of her beautiful aunt, who had glowing skin and taught Odom the best way to care for her own.

During Odom’s first semester of college, she was in a premed program when she became pregnant. At a prenatal visit, she saw a nurse practitioner who inspired her to go down the same road.

“A lightbulb went off for me,” Odom said, when she learned there was a career path for her where she could have a significant and compassionate impact on patients in a holistic way. Odom, a member of the American Med Spa Association (AmSpa) and a board-certified senior laser practitioner in the state of GA, ended up with bachelor’s degrees in both nursing and biology, and obtained a master’s as a family nurse practitioner in 2012.

Odom spent many years in the nursing field before taking certification courses to become an aesthetic practitioner.

After a series of doors shut in her face when she tried to pursue a career in the aesthetic field, she decided to do something she had dreamed about for some time: open her own medical spa.

At Odomí, each client’s whole being is cared for—mind, body, and spirit.

Services include: skin rejuvenation, Botox, contouring/weight loss, IV nutrient therapy, and hair restoration and removal.
