Elena Madden
Savannah artist Elena Madden was in a "blue mood"- specifically cerulean- in Spring of 2006. The color ended up in everything! The SCAD graduate said she sometimes "goes crazy– monochromatic". Regardless of what colors she uses, her paintings capture images primarily in memory; life infuses her art and art, in turn, infuses her life.
Since 2006, that same blue can be found often in Madden's work, though her incorporation of other colors in her signature paintings of water make you see its movement. Check out her website.
