Electric Moon’s “Mix It Up at the Moon” Mixology Class on June 21

Cocktails crafted with Fernet-Branca and Caffe Borghetti will be featured at the Mix It Up at the Moon mixology class on June 21 at Plant Riverside District’s Electric Moon Skytop Lounge.

Electric Moon’s interactive cocktail classes are led by master mixologists and brand ambassadors from across the region and around the globe. Attendees also enjoy the opportunity to learn how to make signature appetizers designed to pair with featured Mix It Up at the Moon cocktails from the acclaimed culinary team at Plant Riverside District.

The June Mix It Up at the Moon class will feature cocktails crafted with Fernet-Branca, a top Italian bitters created from a signature blend of 27 herbs and spices, as well as Caffè Borghetti, Fernet-Branca’s acclaimed espresso liqueur that has been served at European cafés for over a century. Fernet-Branca is known as one of the top 100 premium spirit brands worldwide and has won gold medals at the Los Angeles International Spirits & Wine Competition as well as the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

This special mixology class will be co-hosted by Marina Ramos, the Director of Bars and Lounges at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District, and Electric Moon’s Lead Bartender Jessica Wiseman. Attendees will learn how to make three cocktails with Fernet-Branca as well as two signature dishes designed to play off the flavors of Fernet-Branca and Caffè Borghetti.
