WHEN AND WHY

I was attracted to the field of medicine because it offered the opportunity for innovation and the ability to perfect a craft. I received a degree in General Surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, where I pursued research in melanoma, surgical nutrition, and health disparities in developing countries. I then received a Masters in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and pursued a Doctorate in Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine, graduating with honors.

I have outstanding moments every day, when I empower my patients to achieve their definition of beauty for themselves. It is very satisfying to help them meet their goals.

OUTSTANDING PERSON

The outstanding people in my life are my five children who provide me with unwavering support and of course, my excellent staff.

OUTSTANDING TECHNOLOGY

I have advanced training in laser and energy-based technology for non-surgical rejuvenation. I am also the Medical Director of the Migraine Surgery Center of Georgia, LLC, offering minimally invasive techniques to decompress nerves in the face and neck that can trigger migraine attacks. I am very proud of this technology, as it is the first multi-disciplinary program for migraines in the state of Georgia and it has a great positive impact on the lives of patients and their families.
