APPROACH

We have proven our commitment to Savannah by being the only Outpatient, Independent Imaging Center in the South East offering both High Field Open MRI and 3T MRI under the same roof. We want to make things as easy and comfortable as possible for every patient sent to us. Our patients are our neighbors, friends, and family. We all share the greatest bond in that we are all Savannahians. Every single patient that walks through the big red doors at Coastal Imaging will be treated with the utmost respect. They will hear Yes Sir and Yes Ma’am till the moment they leave. I passionately believe in treating everyone as you expect to be treated yourself.

WHEN AND WHY

Growing up as a very energetic and active young lad, I found myself in the emergency room quite often with lacerations, broken bones etc. Every time, after being put back together, I would walk out of the ER knowing that medicine was exactly what I wanted to do.

OUTSTANDING MOMENT

Prior to medical school, as a lifeguard I resuscitated a child who had drowned. Throughout the entire process, I had a calm over me, never panicking, realizing the training I had received prepared me for that moment. I would have to say that this was, at the least, a defining moment for me that cemented my desire to pursue a career in medicine.

OUTSTANDING PERSON

Countless physicians, both deceased and still practicing, have had a profound effect on the way I practice medicine. I am blessed to have been shaped by many colleagues and mentors, and I hope that I can help pass on their legacies by practicing medicine the way it should be; with compassion, empathy, and always putting the best interests of the patient first.

OUTSTANDING TECHNOLOGY

The field of radiology is constantly evolving. From technological innovations such as such as 3T MRI, high field strength open MRI, color cartilage mapping, advanced prostate imaging, diffusion tensor imaging of the brain, the list goes on and on. Additionally, combined diagnostics are playing a large role in the future of medicine. Advanced imaging in conjunction with wet and dry biomarkers, AI, data analysis, genomics and biologics are the absolute tip of the spear in personalized healthcare, and will forever change the way we diagnose and treat disease.
