Discover The 'Hidden Gem' of the Golden Isles!
Just one hour south of Savannah, you will discover the Golden Isles, a beautiful region of the state where a plethora of activities ranging from dining, shopping, lodging and outdoor exploring await you! The mainland, Brunswick, is truly not to be missed.

Brunswick is without a doubt a hidden gem, featuring a great art scene with a variety of galleries and a multitude of coffee shops. Because visitors tend to spend time towards the coastal portions of the Golden Isles, Brunswick is the locals’ secret. Some major points of interest that you won’t want to miss include the Sidney Lanier Bridge, the Ritz Theatre, Old City Hall and various squares and pocket parks that decorate the streets, quite similarly to Savannah. In terms of shopping, there are many antique stores where you will be sure to find a unique piece to bring home with you! When you’re ready for dinner, we recommend The Farmer & The Larder (be sure to attend their Wine Down Wednesday event or even try a cooking class!) or Tipsy McSway’s. Coming soon is the Richland Rum Distillery, so keep your eyes pealed for its arrival. Done for the day? Call it a night at McKinnon House Bed & Breakfast, Watershill Bed & Breakfast or the Brunswick Manor. Sweet dreams!
