A recipe for success: perfect steak and warm hospitality.
One of the world’s most legendary chophouses, Savannah’s locally-owned and independently operated Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse never lost sight of its name sake’s original recipe for success: perfect steak, warm hospitality and good times that never stop rolling.
Husband-and-wife team Jeff and Paula Conway run Ruth’s Chris out of the century-old, former Savannah Morning News building, who’s historic elegance lends itself to the restaurant’s identity, its steaks. Named for the “First Lady of Steak,” Ruth Fertel was something special, building a 60-seat steak house into a business that spans the globe. Along with Ruth’s Chris’ trademark 1800-degree oven and 500 degree-plates which are also something of a legend. (A tribute to its founder, the company still trades on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the symbol RUTH.)
“It is all about relationships and we strive to develop a long-lasting relationship with you, our guest,” said the Conways.
Go enjoy the best part of the day: getting together at Ruth’s Bar to sip and savor your way through a storied legacy, 57 years in the making.
