PS Tavern
Your neighborhood bar away from home.
This relaxed establishment strives to make every patron a recurring customer with its friendly service, popular drinks and delicious bar food.
After moving from Colorado in 2016, husband-and-wife Scot and Paisley Minshall combined their names and opened PS Tavern in the heart of Savannah’s historic district. PS Tavern prides itself on its laid-back ambience, popular Bloody Marys and made-from-scratch pizza dough and sauce. While it’s home to many bachelorette parties and bar crawlers, its late night kitchen serves up a variety of all-American grub and appetizers.
“What people don’t know about us is how good our food is,” said Scot Minshall. “Whether its burgers or wings or more traditional American food, we take a lot of pride.”
Home of the Green Bay Packers Watch Party and signature drink “invisible pants” (two types of rum), the tavern’s priority is making customers feel welcome within its walls either downtown or at its satellite restaurant at the new Enmarket Arena. Paisley Minshall coined the term “your neighborhood bar away from home,”which is what PS Tavern tries to be “even though there’s not really a neighborhood around us,” said Scot Minshall. “If somebody comes in for a weekend visit, we see them three or four different times. If you sit at our bar long enough, you’re bound to see something you’ve probably never seen before.”
