Jazz’d Tapas Bar

Under new ownership, Jazz’d looks to curate a different vibe.

This below-the-street local favorite industrial restaurant has plans to spice things up in the coming months.

First opened in 2003 inside the heart of Savannah’s historic district, denizens know Jazz’d Tapas Bar an underground chic spot for delicious food, fun drinks and electrifying live music. A local hangout, Jazz’d offers a relaxed yet upscale venue to reconnect with friends over great food and service. Under new ownership, however, while preserving the restaurant’s character, the restaurant is looking to condense its menu to bolster the quality of its dishes, like the blackened salmon and mushroom soup with coconut milk. In late July, Karan Patel bought Jazz’d with a vision from owners of 19 years, Brian and Julie Curry. After visiting larger cities, Patel plans to transform the restaurant’s vibe into an upscale cocktail lounge, called the Finch, after 10 p.m. on select nights. The Finch will serve a menu of small-bites as the kitchen stays open later than usual. Stay tuned for this historic restaurant’s next chapter!
