Compass Not Required to Follow this Atlas
“Atlas Animal Hospital exists to provide the pets of Savannah with exceptional veterinary care and to build a lasting relationship with their families,” says owner Dr. Emily Bradbury, DVM. “Opening a new hospital was scary and felt overwhelming at times, but our clients have been absolutely wonderful and I love working with you!
Having recently celebrated their two year anniversary, Dr. Emily Bradbury and staff Vicky, Caitlin, and Lillie know all of their patients by name and provide exceptional care day in and day out at Atlas Animal Hospital.
“I am the kind of veterinarian who always has the animal’s comfort in mind. I never want my patients to be scared or in pain and we always address those concerns first.”
Compassionate Care
Compassionate care for every patient that paws through the door is the ultimate mission of this veterinary hospital. “I am the kind of veterinarian who always has the animal’s comfort in mind. I never want my patients to be scared or in pain and we always address those concerns first,” says Dr. Bradbury.
Advice for Clients
Pay attention to “subtle changes in a pet’s appetite or energy level. Many dogs and cats will hide illness and early detection is key to the best outcome,” she says. “You should feel comfortable discussing anything unusual with your veterinarian so diagnostics can be performed.”

Dedication and Trust
Communication is the “absolute most important part to a successful relationship with clients,” says Dr. Bradbury. This leads to trust which is invaluable in being able to provide the best care. “Each patient is dependent upon me to evaluate them closely and identify any concerns – I want to get that right every time,” says Dr. Bradbury. “I like the responsibility of being the medical provider for animals who are truly family.”
About Atlas
The facility was named after a special dog of Dr. Bradbury’s named Atlas. When Atlas was six years old, he was diagnosed with cancer and “Dr. Bradbury wanted to be sure she understood all options for his care.” This philosophy has carried over into the rest of her practice and each patient and their bipedal companions are treated to empathetic guidance. “As your veterinary team, we will ensure you have all of the support and information you need to make the best decision, whether at a wellness visit or when making difficult decisions.”
