Committed to Caring

Providing comfort at the most important time in life
The final stages of life can be among the most emotionally heart-wrenching, not only for patients but for their loved ones. Guiding families as they say their goodbyes and walking patients down that peaceful path as they transition is a journey that the professionals at PruittHealth Hospice have been privileged to walk for 49 years. Doctors Michael Cohen, Thomas Moriarity and Adam Novack lead the team at PruittHealth Hospice of Savannah in providing patient-centered holistic care at the end of life. Under their guidance, the team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, licensed social workers, clergy and volunteers is invited into the homes and lives of patients and families during their most vulnerable and delicate moments. As the final steps are taken in a patient’s journey, these professionals are there to provide guidance and support through the final stages of life. Bearing witness to these most intimate moments is one of the many privileges of serving as a hospice provider.
