Chef Jerome Brown Wants You to Feel Like Family

He is proud of his old-school heritage. He worked hard as a kid, stirring the pots as his mother made soap, pumping water, chopping wood and, most importantly, learning to cook. His love for food and for people spurred him to open his own restaurant in his home after he had a “vision from The Father.” He has created a fantastical world where diners can relax, eat and enjoy—if they can find it. Located in Townsend, Georgia, the restaurant is reached by dirt road through a forest that used to be a potato field. It’s a foodie destination for celebrities like Ben Affleck, and Steve Bartkowski, former quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons, is a big fan of Chef Jerome, too.
