While other parts of the country are still in quarantine, Savannah, Georgia was back to the business of doing what we do best… celebrating!

On Thursday, May 14th, South magazine and Southern Eagle Distributing celebrated their 14th Brews for a Cause. Many of the cities most prominent were in attendance to raise money for the The Leukemia & Lymphoma society and to continue the celebration of the newly designed spring issue of South magazine.

The Equinox Brass Krewe was on deck to present a cool jazz-style performance that provided the perfect ambience for the cool evening atop the beautiful Perry Lane Hotel’s Peregrin Rooftop Lounge. 

Special thanks to The Kennickell Group whose printing is legendary, for provided the beautiful red carpet backdrop.

A special thanks to Jason Palazzolo of Justifire who has built a technology company that specializes in tactics, data, and product design. Their mission is to educate, train, and give law abiding citizens the tools necessary to protect themselves and their community. Jason and his team were there to sponsor this great event.

Guests enjoyed crafted drinks from Southern Eagle who continues to quench the South’s thirst with custom crafted beverages. The beverage of the night included Dominga – a citrusy-sweet sour ale that hits the mark and is perfect for a Sunday brunch. Also featured was Cutwater Peach Margarita – made with real tequila and tastes like a burst of freshly cut peaches in every sip. 

The Perry Lane Hotel – who has provided Savannah with one of its most beautiful hotels and one of the most popular night spots in town, the Peregrin Rooftop Lounge debuted their new menu items which were a big hit with the over 200 guests in attendance, and provided an amazing signature cocktail for VIP guests.

South magazine and Southern Eagle will continue their monthly Brews for a Cause on June 24th at a location to be announced.
