Barranquilla Carnival Savannah

Festive colors were strewn across Posey Street on Saturday, April 1, as people celebrated the third annual Barranquilla Carnival in Savannah at the Antojo Latino. The outdoor block party was modeled after the carnival held in Barranquilla, Columbia, which is the second largest celebration in the world, just behind Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Attendees feasted on Colombian dishes and drinks as they danced and watched performances by Danza y Tambor, a Venezuelan dance group from Miami.
