Bar • Food is an exciting neighborhood restaurant, the perfect spot for a fun late-night getaway or a relaxing evening after a day’s work. Launched in 2009, bar • food specializes in American funky cuisine — with an Asian twist at times — and is known for their small-plate menu. Owner and Chef Johnny Baker was inspired by his grandmother, and has over 40 years experience in the restaurant industry. He works to create an innovative menu, featuring an ahi tuna dish paired with a wasabi aioli, as well as their renowned bleu chips — kettle chips served with bleu cheese, brie, scallions and red pepper flakes. They also carry an extensive wine and beer list, supporting local breweries and distilleries in the process. With no TV’s anywhere in the building, bar • food is the perfect locale for a night of great conversation, the basis for any true neighborhood gathering spot.
